"Holes in your life holes in your head holes you can't fill at all/ sacred monsters rule the air/ the face of monsters behind cool masks"
--Headless Body Found in Topless Bar

    HEADLESS IN SEATTLE

Where do your dreams end and you begin/feathers and face paint beneath the white coats/ model my inventions/ tell your hardluck stories while you cook my soup!
    --Behemoth

Mr. Fuller, in the guise of the Mississippi bluesman Blind Lemon Rockefeller, once fronted a band called The Lotus Eaters touring the huts and villages of many Third World countries before his mysterious disappearance nine years ago. Now, out from under the auspices of the witness protection program, at last free to perform under his own name, he is presented to you: The Voice in the Wilderness, ready to rattle the walls, tell truth to power, and steal your heart away.

Mr. Fuller has now recorded, HEADLESS BODY FOUND IN TOPLESS BAR featuring 'Rip Up' ("you rip up my heart/ you rip off my head/ mmmmm feels good"); the poignant 'Breakfast is Ruined'("Here I sit in the corpse of my youth/ a suitcase of fish and no memories of the future"); and the venerable 'Lunatic Moon' ("I die a thousand times naked and blind/the heart's a deep pit of blood and war."

Mr. Fuller currently lives in a secluded location near Seattle, WA, reached only by parachute. Like Joel McCrae in 'Ride the High Country' he just wants to enter his house justified."

Rip Up 04:12
You feel the hot moon urging you now roll in my arms when the night pulls down upon my mind and you're under my skin you gonna love me or let in sorrow? take a walk with you outside and what do I find? the one-eyed man is the king of the blind touch me baby in the lawless night I'm ready to take your love rip up my heart, rip off my head rip up my heart, that's what I said rip up my heart, rip off my head mmmm feel's good what a woman says to a hungry lover write it on running water, write it on air the strongest man will be brought to his knees have mercy baby, have mercy on me rip up my heart, rip off my head rip up my heart, that's what I said rip up my heart, rip off my head mmmm feel's good

Behemoth 03:09
Step right up, we've got carnival freaks with shrunken heads siamese twins pickled in a bottle over in the side show, fairhaired girls mingle with swans chased by a lion you're met by a bear and you put your hand on a snake Where do your dreams end and you begin? feathers and facepaint beneath the white coats model my inventions tell your hard luck stories while you cook my soup in human society it's dangerous to have a head climb every mountain, ride every river to the sea to the sea, to the bottom of the sea Insignificance is the common malady can you miss your life like you miss a plane? camera is king, news and excitement bombs your brain the face is a mask, the soul is a shadow Halls of delusion where the empty box nestles the staircase to your room a deaf mute with the message of destiny arrives on the meat-slaving wheel and the whole world is sophisticated climb every mountain, ride every river to the sea to the sea, to the bottom of the sea

Poison enters, it's wealth she worships the heart's a liar, speak less than you know why has life been given to you? all that you own you can lose in one night earth above sky below sky below first exploited then abandoned this was boomtown, work has gone south insect lust, the fluttering wing opium is the religion of the people earth above, sky below sky below are you feeling lonely are you feeling lonely, yet? sleek and speeding, your time was passing the men of theory enthralled with science all the nerves of human sympathy snap like dry twigs, I had a belly full of your love earth above, sky below sky below are you feeling lonely are you feeling lonely, yet?

Abyssinia 02:18
ABYSSINIA once if I remember well life was a feast where all wines flowed seated beauty on my knees and found her bitter laid myself down in the mud I dried in the air of crime played sly tricks on madness spring brought me an idiot’s laughter and when you’re hungry and thirsty there’s someone to drive you away there is a clock that never strikes there is a hollow with a nest of white beasts there’s a cathedral that goes down and a lake that goes up once if I remember well life was a feast where all wines flowed I seated beauty on my knees and found her bitter and when you’re hungry and thirsty there’s someone to drive you away Copyright RJF/Glamourpuss Music Based upon the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud (1854-1891)

Here I sit in a corpse of my youth a suitcase of fish and no memory of the future the quality of mercy you never strain why did you roam, why did you wander? then we put on our seven-league boots and deep six the pickle in a garden of moonbeams later repent into dust and to ashes why did you roam, why did you wander? the eggs of alarm they speak to me the juice in my throat tastes bleak to me the toast in my heart is burning breakfast is ruined again no bird to whistle and no bird to sing no diamond or ruby to lay at your feet but I'll tell the fable of your fabulous prime why did you roam, why did you wander? they scatter like rats when we call in the airstrikes I row like a galley-slave to your plush beach hotel the nude in the hallway has new information why did you roam, why did you wander? the eggs of alarm they speak to me the juice in my throat tastes bleak to me the toast in my heart is burning breakfast is ruined again

Lunatic Moon 05:28
I die a thousand times naked and blind the hearts a deep pit of blood and war lightning strikes twice in one night you set the cool head aflame with smoke such is love under a lunatic moon mystery in a woman’s eyes get every lovely word just right drink the venom manfully indifference is a mortal sin a woman will stir up storms in your blood things will roll things will shake things will rumble and quake just like a young lover swoons under a lunatic moon I lost track of my companion somewhere in the lower depths we’re a secret to each other cruel with outraged righteousness corruption in high places a king does whatever he wants in the seat of justice, a wicked man sits you want something but you don’t get it you want something but you don’t get it cut and sliced up and ready for the market place things will roll things will shake things will rumble and quake just like a young lover swoons under a lunatic moon when I have one of them holy fits put a burning coal upon my lips got what I wanted and lost what I had I'll put another notch on my gun roll in the mud with your immaculate form while gypsies play and sing there's no more pity in the world no more pity in the world iron chains are winding tight your guts are pilloried analyzed and cannibalized they strip you of any modesty I'm on a hilltop doing a rain dance I'm in the forest chewing on grass the heart's a deep pit of blood and war heart's a deep pit of blood and war things will roll things will shake things will rumble and quake just like a young lover swoons under a lunatic moon you want something but you don’t get it you want something but you don’t get it!
